And now I read that Kodak Zi8 is also being discontinued. So what is a non-profit to do? Both companies made their decisions based on the assumption that smart phones (with video) will take over the market. But much of nonprofits video needs aren’t well-suited to shooting with a phone. And what nonprofit can afford to provide their personnel with smartphones? Zoom’s Q3HD is a possibility but it is a pricey $300.
